Labor Day.

     While this may be a holiday for many of you out there, to me it is the start of Autumn. Even more important, seeing as I don’t celebrate the unions ( That’s what ‘Labor Day’ is didn’t ya know? ) is this is the weekend where Jerry Lewis hosts a telethon for the Muscular Dystrophy Association. This is the most worthy cause that I can think of. ( Except for Boys town and the DAV ) I support them every year and besides good entertainment, there is lots of news on the research front every year. So if you get a minute, put down your beer, tune in the tv and pick up your phone and make a call. The number is 1-800-FIGHT MD (1-800-344-4863) You wont be sorry and besides making you feel good you will be helping thousands of kids maybe someday beat this thing!
